Manzanita Manor is the perfect alternative to UNR Dormitories. We are 50 meters from UNR Dormitories, and are close to the center of campus. Our rooms are larger than dorm rooms, you don’t share them with another student, and you have your own private entrance and private bath, and can use the kitchens to prepare the food you like to eat. Manzanita Manor is far less expensive than Dormitories, and you do not have to move out of your apartment during Winter and Summer Breaks (Dorm students DO have to move out during Winter and Summer Breaks). All utilities are included, so it is perfect for first time renters and foreign students who haven’t established credit in the USA. The Sierra Spirit free shuttle bus is one street away and takes you to north campus and downtown Reno. Each Studio Apartment has heating and air-conditioning set by the tenant. Every four apartments shares a large kitchen and dining area, giving you the chance to meet other students and saving you a lot of money (compared to apartments with individual kitchens).

Manzanita Manor is affordable, safe, friendly, and very close to the center of UNR Campus. Manzanita Manor is a quiet building, where students can enjoy an environment perfect for studying, sleeping, cooking their own favorite foods, and meeting other friendly, hard working students. Located so close to campus and downtown Reno, many of our residents do not own automobiles. For students with cars, there are 32 parking spaces, covered and uncovered, where your car will be safe and convenient. It is well lit at night, has on-premises clothes washing machines, and is professionally managed by Reno Property Management.
